Funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (FAMI) 2014–2020, and aimed at involving at least 300 legally resident third-country nationals in the local area as well as 100 Italian L2 teachers and public and private sector operators engaged in training and the third sector, the project had the overall objective of supporting civic and language training and the socio-occupational inclusion of legally resident third-country nationals in the territory, on the understanding that language knowledge is a key tool for social integration.
Project partners included the University of Messina, CPIA Ragusa, the Giuseppina Arnao Social Research Studies Center in Palermo, and the Regional School Office – Territorial Area Office IX for the Province of Ragusa.
