Società Cooperativa Sociale
FORMAZIONE E COMUNIONE ONLUS
Fo.Co. is a social enterprise where business activity is driven by entrepreneurial spirit aimed at broader social, environmental, and community goals. Our primary focus is creating meaningful local impact—benefiting workers, their families, and communities—rather than generating profit for members.
Our Origins
Founded in 2012 by a diverse group of professionals, Fo.Co. set out to innovate social cooperation. We reject speculative migration models that treat people as revenue numbers. “Fo.Co.” stands for Training Communion:
Training as personal growth and professional development rooted in universal brotherhood.
Communion as co-development, fostering mutual progress for an economy of shared good.
“Foco” was also the nickname Chiara Lubich gave to Igino Giordani—journalist, writer, Constituent Assembly member, and co-founder of the Focolare Movement—whose ideas deeply inspire us.
Our Values
We align with global ethics: in an interconnected world, we tackle challenges through universal principles, beyond culture, nationality, or beliefs. We champion civil engagement for freedom and self-determination. As market players, we see business as a space for mutual needs fulfillment.
Fo.Co. thrives on unity in strategy and governance:
Assemblies convene on any member’s request, with full attendance.
Participation is constant, via formal meetings and informal updates.
High internal democracy: all strategic decisions emerge from equal dialogue, regardless of roles.
