Employment 4 Inclusion (E4I) focuses on one of the major challenges related to the integration of migrants, newcomers, asylum seekers, and refugees (MNAR) in Europe: how to provide the best intervention model to promote their social and labour inclusion. Greece, Italy, and currently Spain are the main destinations of migratory flows to the EU, while France and Denmark host significant numbers of refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. Although the target groups’ profiles differ slightly among partner countries (nationality, type of migration, etc.), they all share common needs regarding the social and labour inclusion of MNAR.

The project therefore aims to promote the social and labour inclusion of migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees by equipping reception professionals with the guidelines and tools they need to support migrants in cooperation with public bodies and companies.

What are the objectives of E4I – Employment 4 Inclusion?

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for professionals, providing them with innovative tools and an interactive model for the social and labour inclusion of migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees.

• Provide professionals working with migrants with the guidelines and tools necessary to offer comprehensive support to migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees, in collaboration with public institutions and companies.

• Promote the social inclusion and civic participation of migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees by developing their employability and social skills, and by developing and testing effective methods to reach these groups.

• Offer practical solutions and policy recommendations for institutions, companies, and social organisations at local, regional, national, and European levels, in order to improve the socio-occupational inclusion of migrants.
