Creation of 3 business incubators and job placement support for unaccompanied foreign minors and young adults who have recently turned 18.

The project involves the creation of 3 business incubators and job placement centers for unaccompanied foreign minors (MSNA) and young adults who have recently come of age, which will serve as key service hubs for identifying training needs, providing vocational training, facilitating job placement, and supporting business incubation. Reception communities and programs, in fact, while often having the financial resources to launch employment integration pathways for the MSNA they host, typically lack adequate human resources, local network connections — particularly with businesses and the productive sector — bureaucratic and procedural knowledge, and in many cases the actual time needed to effectively, efficiently, and concretely start pathways that provide their guests with the training and experience needed to facilitate their entry into the job market.

The general objective of the proposed intervention is to strengthen the inclusion system for minors and young adults who arrived in Italy alone, improving their economic, housing, and social inclusion pathways through the testing of an integrated system at the local level.

The main project activities are:

• Selection of beneficiaries

• Activation of job support and mentoring pathways

• Delivery of training courses

• Guidance and support for housing inclusion

• Identification of bridge families (host families)

• Creation of start-ups

From the 8×1000 project came “Oltre le Barriere srls” (Beyond the Barriers), a start-up specializing in the provision of cultural mediation services.
