Fo.Co. was selected as the implementing body for the F.A.S.I. Project (Training, Self-entrepreneurship and Start-up for Regular Immigrants), promoted by the National Microcredit Authority (ENM), with the aim of carrying out joint and synergic initiatives in the Less Developed Regions benefiting recipients of the “PON Legalità” (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily). These initiatives target holders of a valid residence permit for international protection (asylum or subsidiary protection) or holders of a valid residence permit for work (self-employed, employed, or seasonal).

The implementing organisation’s role was to launch training pathways aimed at recipients who wished to evaluate, in a structured and guided way, the socio-economic integration opportunities linked to starting their own self-employment activity or business. The first training course was delivered via distance learning (FAD) in June and July 2020.
